Transforming Blue Fin Fishing Club’s outdoor space into a family-friendly playground destination
Brief
When Blue Fin Fishing Club in Queensland decided to revitalise their outdoor spaces, they approached us with an exciting challenge. Their goal? To activate an outdoor, underutilised corner of their building and transform it into a lively, family-friendly area that would attract visitors and enhance the club’s appeal. It was the perfect opportunity to showcase our creativity and expertise—and we’re proud to say we delivered.
Range
Our design journey started with the introduction of our innovative Cube structure, which was key to overcoming the unique challenges of this project. The space had limitations—fixed roofs, pillars, and permanent boundaries—but these hurdles only fuelled our creativity. We envisioned and brought to life a vibrant, impactful playground packed with a variety of play options designed to excite and engage. Not only did we create a playground that maximised the tricky area, but we also ensured it captured attention from the street, serving as an inviting focal point for the community.
To make this playground truly special, we went the extra mile with custom touches that reflect Blue Fin Fishing Club’s identity. LED lighting was added to bring the area to life in the evening, creating a magical ambience for families. We also incorporated unique pop-out graphics, custom-designed to celebrate the club’s character and make this space one-of-a-kind.
Product
Collaboration was at the heart of this project. Our installation team worked closely with Blue Fin and their builder to ensure the vision was executed seamlessly. Every adjustment and change was communicated clearly, allowing us to adapt swiftly and deliver a flawless final result. The response from Peter and the team at Blue Fin was fantastic—they were thrilled with the transformation and couldn’t wait to see families enjoying the space.
This project stands as a testament to what’s possible when creativity meets collaboration. We’re proud to have helped Blue Fin Fishing Club turn a forgotten corner into a buzzing hub of activity, energy, and joy for families in their community.
